Ms. Pathak holds the esteemed position of honorary director for the Media Dictionary Project, under the Indian Association of Mass Communication (Regd.), New Delhi. Additionally, she serves as the National Secretary for the International Association of Women Media Teachers (IAWMT) and contributes as a Working Committee Member of the Global Media Education Council. An alumna of Miranda House College, University of Delhi, and the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, she also earned a Doctorate in mass communication. With a background as a freelance journalist for publications such as Jansatta, Nai Dunia, and Amar Ujala, as well as experience in the FM radio industry where she served as a radio consultant, programming head, and radio jockey. She now dedicates herself to media academia. Her scholarly pursuits have seen her presenting numerous research papers at both national and international conferences, with her work published in respected journals.
